This is the home for my collection of digital cameras. I am concentrating my collection on compact digicams who's design or innovation changed or influenced photography in the last 25 years. Ranging from world firsts to the beautiful and the unusual. I started collecting at the beginning of 2018 with my first purchase of a very collectable Apple Qucktake 100. Purchased on eBay for $10!
My cameras have mainly come from eBay, Japanese Yahoo auctions and local NZ trading sites. The main issue with purchasing from overseas on eBay is the postage cost. This is sometimes costing more than the actual camera! But the search continues for the rare and the beautiful.

The Future
The Future
I hope that the collection will grow and expand into a sizeable collection. I would like it to represent and show the progression of innovation in the digicam industry. There are still developments being made all the time in digital photography. In recent times the shift away from compact digicams to mobile smartphones has changed the way people take photographs. The move from SLR's to mirror-less design cameras is still ongoing. These may all be represented in the collection in the future.
