Minolta Dimage V

This was a quite unique camera and is now a little bit rare. ?Unique because it has a lens that can literally go around corners. This is more than a swivel lens. This is fully detachable and movable in all directions. It achieves this by means of a tethered cable that transmits the data from the sensor at the rear of the lens to the camera body and screen. CRAZY!

It's rarity may be be due to the kind of memory cards it uses. They are smart media cards for sure like most of the other manufacturers were adopting. But they chose to use a higher voltage version. 5v smart-media cards are not compatible with the alternative and universally adopted 3v smart-media cards. Therefore they are quite rare and indeed just a single 5v smart-media card is worth over $100 sans camera!
